Ronald McDonald House Holcombe

Houston, TX

Our art program for the Ronald McDonald House in Houston needed to adorn this residence for the up to 70 families who live here while loved ones go through medical treatments on campus. Art selections are fun and whimsical for its pediatric residents, but not too juvenile since entire families often live here during extended stays.

Much of the art on the main common level feature high visibility works that reinforce the client’s brand, values and mission. As one enters the facility, the tone is set by means of a large scale mural we call the hope wall; it’s a study of the 7 words which best constitute a patients or family’s journey of hope. Its fabricated out of durable panels to withstand impact in this highly trafficked area.

Residents were given an area where their photos could be updated into a changeable display, and homage was paid to Mogi, the house mascot. We hope you enjoy this portfolio as much as we did creating this healing sanctuary for children and families on their journey towards health.
